WOMEN IN-COMMAND

Women In-Command

Women In-Con the water trainingommand brings together like-minded women in a fun and supportive environment designed to encourage students to build confidence and practice new skills through a combination of classroom and on-the-water training. Gain knowledge and experience to confidently take the wheel. Rather not? Got it… So, let’s help you become an active, integral crew member so you can participate like a seasoned boater on your boat, or as a guest on someone else’s. While the captain is at the wheel, all other responsibilities fall on the crew – often times that means you!

Most importantly, if you are out alone with the captain or have children with you, possessing basic boat handling skills and an understanding of emergency and radio procedures if something happens to the primary operator can mean the difference between a great day of boating and a really bad day on the water!

Many of our female students said they “Went along for the ride” because it was just too stressful to try to learn from their partner. Women In-Command removes that component and encourages women to achieve their goals. As skill levels and confidence grow, students enjoy boating more and become more engaged, which makes it safer and more fun for everyone on board!

Our one-day program combines 4 hours of classroom training in the morning and then after lunch, 3 hours of on-the-water skill development. This unique format gives each student not only the knowledge needed for anyone stepping onto a boat, but also on-the-water practical lessons that will improve skill level and build confidence. Feel relaxed with all female instructors.

Together we will laugh and learn, surely make some mistakes, and hopefully make some new friends along the way.

Mothers and daughters, sisters and girlfriends, join us for this rewarding adventure!
