Navigation 101 – Basic Navigation and Chart Plotting
Imagine having the navigational skills to pre-plan a day trip out on Narragansett Bay or having the ability to find the places you have heard so much about. You will gain the skills to recognize and avoid danger areas and have the knowledge on how to prevent a bad day from happening or a good day from going wrong.
The “Navigation 101” course will help you gain the knowledge and skills necessary to venture out on the water safely and build the confidence that can ensure successful pleasure trips to places where the fishing, swimming, or beach parties with friends are happening.
This course is designed for boaters of all skill levels. Learn to read and use a chart properly, learn to use the navigation tools and gain the ability to plot a course to your favorite destination(s). Learn how much time it will take to your destination, or how far away it is so can enjoy the beautiful sights along our beautiful coastline and visit our “Island Park” system safely and with confidence.

Cost: $299.00 Per Student
includes use of charts and tools.
